What counts as an "asset"? Is there a cap?
Any piece of equipment, vehicle, location, or item you want to track. Each plan includes a generous asset allocation — 1,000 on Basic, 5,000 on Professional, 25,000 on Scale, unlimited on Enterprise. Need more? Asset add-on packs start at $15/mo. We've got customers running 50 assets and customers running 50,000.
Is the free trial actually free?

How does billing work for annual vs monthly?
Annual plans are ~20% cheaper and invoiced up front. Monthly plans bill the card on file on the 1st of each month. Enterprise is quoted based on scope and invoiced annually.
Can we self-host or run on our own cloud?
Not today. We run AssetOS on a hardened multi-tenant stack in the UK and US with regional failover. Enterprise customers can pin their data to a specific region. If you have a strict self-host requirement, talk to us — we can usually find a path with dedicated infrastructure.
Can I buy more assets or storage without upgrading my plan?
Yes. Asset packs start at $15/mo for +500 assets ($12/mo on annual), up to +10,000 assets for $120/mo. Storage packs start at $8/mo for +50 GB, up to +500 GB for $40/mo. Both are available on Basic and Professional plans. On Scale you get 25,000 assets and 500 GB included — if you need more than that, talk to us about Enterprise.
What happens when my trial ends or I cancel?
Your account becomes read-only for 30 days so you can export everything — assets, work orders, history, documents — as CSV, JSON, or PDF. After that we delete it. Your data is yours; we're just borrowing it.
