Welcome to AssetOS. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AssetOS's software-as-a-service platform, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using AssetOS, you confirm that you:
- Are at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction
- Have the authority to enter into these Terms
- Will comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Have read and understood our Privacy Policy
If you are accessing the Service on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
2. Account Registration and Security
Account Creation
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Keep your password secure and confidential
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
Account Responsibility
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security.
3. Subscription and Billing
Plans and Pricing
AssetOS offers various subscription plans with different features and pricing. Current pricing is available on our website. We reserve the right to modify our pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
Payment Terms
- Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually)
- Payment is due immediately upon subscription or renewal
- All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or expressly stated
- You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees
- Failed payments may result in service suspension or termination
Free Trials
Free trials may be offered at our discretion. At the end of a free trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan unless you cancel before the trial ends.
Refunds
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new subscriptions. To request a refund, contact us at hello@assetos.io within 30 days of your initial purchase. Refunds are not available for renewals or add-on services.
4. Service Availability and Support
Service Level
We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime for the Service, excluding scheduled maintenance. However, the Service is provided "as is" and we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
Maintenance
We may perform scheduled maintenance that temporarily interrupts service. We will provide advance notice when possible, typically via email or in-app notification.
Support
Support is provided via email at hello@assetos.io. Response times vary by subscription plan. Support is provided in English during business hours (9 AM - 5 PM EET, Monday - Friday).
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any laws, regulations, or third-party rights
- Transmit harmful code, viruses, or malware
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Use automated tools to access the Service without permission
- Resell, redistribute, or transfer your account or the Service
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Remove or modify any proprietary notices or labels
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
6. Your Data and Content
Your Ownership
You retain all rights to the data and content you submit to the Service ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to use, store, and process Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect Your Content. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Backup
While we perform regular backups, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups of Your Content. We are not liable for any data loss.
Data Portability
You may export Your Content at any time through the Service's export features. Upon termination, we will retain Your Content for 30 days before permanent deletion.
7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, and content (excluding Your Content), is owned by AssetOS and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Limited License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes, subject to these Terms.
Feedback
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us the right to use them without compensation or attribution.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party services, their content, or their practices. Your use of third-party services is subject to their terms and policies.
9. Cancellation and Termination
Your Right to Cancel
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will not receive a refund for the remaining time in your billing period.
Our Right to Terminate
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Fail to pay fees when due
- Use the Service in a way that causes harm or liability
- Provide false or misleading information
Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. We may delete Your Content after 30 days. Sections of these Terms that should survive termination will remain in effect.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will meet your requirements
- The Service will be available at all times
- Results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable
- Errors or defects will be corrected
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ASSETOS AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, use, or goodwill
- Service interruptions or data loss
- Third-party actions or content
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100 USD IF YOU HAVE NOT MADE ANY PAYMENTS.
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for certain damages, so some limitations may not apply to you.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AssetOS and its affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of another party
- Your Content
13. Dispute Resolution
Informal Resolution
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at hello@assetos.io to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will try to resolve disputes in good faith.
Arbitration
If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, any dispute will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except that either party may bring a claim in small claims court. Arbitration will be conducted under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
Class Action Waiver
You agree that disputes will be resolved on an individual basis only. You waive any right to participate in a class action or class-wide arbitration.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action must be brought in the courts located in Tallinn, Estonia.
15. International Use
The Service is operated from Estonia. If you access the Service from outside Estonia, you are responsible for compliance with local laws. Your data may be transferred to and processed in Estonia and other locations where our service providers operate.
GDPR Compliance
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), UK, or Switzerland, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). See our Privacy Policy for details on your rights.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and may cancel your subscription for a prorated refund of any prepaid fees.
17. General Provisions
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and AssetOS regarding the Service.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce it later. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by us.
Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, pandemics, strikes, or fuel shortages.
