See the work your contractor does, without having to ask.
When a company that maintains your equipment runs on AssetOS, they can invite your organisation to a free account. You see the assets they look after for you, every job they've completed, and how they're doing against the SLA, read straight from their records. There's nothing to set up and nothing to pay.
What you get when your provider invites you.
Your provider decides which of these they share with you. Assets, SLA performance, service history and requests start switched on.
Overview
Your provider's on-time rate, average response, open requests and missed SLAs, over 30 days, 90 days or 12 months. Nothing is estimated: every number comes from their SLA records.
Assets under contract
Every item they look after for you, with its site, service state, last service and next due date. Read-only: the record stays in your provider's system.
Service history
Each job they've completed on your equipment, with the technician, the dates and whether it met the SLA. Timestamped by the technician on site.
Requests
Report a fault or ask for a service from any asset, with a note and a photo. Then follow it: received, accepted, and the status of the job as it moves.
Missed SLAs
When a job runs late, you see what your provider recorded against it: the cause, the new date and any credit.
Sharing & notifications
You choose who in your organisation is emailed about missed SLAs and the monthly summary. You also decide whether your provider may publish a public proof link.
Every provider, side by side
If more than one of your contractors uses AssetOS, a By provider tab lines them up on the same SLA maths.
Your own assets, too
It's a full free AssetOS account. Register equipment you look after yourself, within the free plan. The assets your provider manages don't count against it.
Compare your contractors on the same numbers.
Most sites have one firm for fire safety, another for HVAC and a third for the lifts, and each sends its own report in its own format. When they all use AssetOS, the By provider tab puts them in one table, worked out the same way: on-time rate, open breaches and assets under contract.
Each asset belongs to one provider, so a fault you report always goes to the firm that looks after it.
Your staff can report a fault from the tag.
If your provider has put QR tags on the equipment, anyone on your site can scan one and report a problem without signing in. The report goes to the provider who looks after that item. People with a portal login can also raise requests from the portal and follow them there.
Looking after equipment for clients yourself? See AssetOS for service providers or, for fire and safety firms, fire & safety servicing.
Before you ask.
Does this cost us anything?
No. Your provider's invite creates a free AssetOS account for your organisation. The assets they look after for you sit on their plan, not yours.
Why can't I see the SLA figures (or the service history)?
Your provider chooses which parts of the portal they share with each client. A section they haven't switched on reads "Your provider hasn't shared this". Ask them to turn it on; there's nothing to configure on your side.
Can we edit the assets or the work orders?
No. The assets and the jobs belong to your provider's records, so the portal is read-only. You can report faults and request service, and follow each request through to the job's status.
Who gets emailed?
Only the people you add under Sharing & notifications, for missed-SLA alerts, the monthly summary, or both. Until you add someone, nobody is emailed. Email is the only channel.
We use several contractors. Can we compare them?
Yes, if they use AssetOS. Once a second provider invites you, a By provider tab shows them side by side on the same SLA maths.
Our contractor doesn't use AssetOS. Can we still use it?
You can open a free account and track your own equipment. For the portal, your contractor needs an AssetOS account with client management; send them the page for service providers.
The invite link says it's invalid or expired.
Ask your provider to resend the invite from their side. A fresh link is generated for you.
Your provider looks after it. Now you can see it.
Accept your provider's invite, or open a free account and start with your own equipment.
